As part of the government’s $9.3 million community infrastructure fund, a $1.6 million upgrade of Laurimar Town Park Community Pavilion has been completed and Ansa Doors has supplied and installed a number of architecturally inspired security roller shutters.
The pavilion project will increase capacity at the centre and include a meeting space, while the education precinct would be shared by the Scouts and the community.
With the Doreen and Mernda communities expected to grow by almost 20,000 people by 2031, it is vital investment in the area where residents can easily access important local services and facilities.
The community infrastructure fund provides funding to local governments for projects including planning and delivery of multipurpose community facilities, improved pedestrian connections, public open spaces and precinct masterplanning.
Ansa Doors has now successfully completed a number of these projects, working in conjunction with a number of various builders to deliver these projects.
