At a cost of $212 million, the Victorian Government is introducing 940 Victoria Police Protective Services Officers (PSOs) progressively to every train station in metropolitan Melbourne and major regional train stations to improve safety for customers.

The program will improve safety on the public transport network. Victoria Police will recruit and train the 940 Protective Services Officers by November 2014.

As part of this program, Ansa Doors has been involved in supplying roller shutters for the upgraded train station facilities to service the officers requirements. In the last 12 months Ansa Doors has supplied over 200 Ansa series E82 Aluminium Roller Shutters for more than 75 upgraded stations. This list will continue to grow as PSOs begin patrolling at every metropolitan station in Victoria.
