Established in 1981 in Melbourne, Ansa Doors has built a strong reputation as a leading manufacturer of high-quality industrial and commercial door solutions. Originally focused on steel roller shutters for the industrial and warehouse sectors, the business expanded operations in the mid-1990s to its current purpose-built facility in Coolaroo, Melbourne.

In 2020, Ansa Doors was acquired by ASSA ABLOY, the global leader in access solutions. This integration has strengthened Ansa Doors’ capabilities through access to global expertise, innovative product development, and advanced manufacturing technologies, while preserving the brand’s strong local presence and customer relationships.

Over the past two decades, the Coolaroo facility has undergone significant capital investment to enhance production capability and broaden the product range. Key developments include:

1. 2005 – Expansion of the manufacturing facility and installation of a dedicated powder coating line
2. 2008 – Construction of a second manufacturing building to support production of aluminum roller shutters, grilles, truck doors, bi-fold doors, and tilt doors
3. 2011 – Completion of a new office building to consolidate sales, production, and administration functions under one roof
4. 2020 - ASSA ABLOY has signed an agreement to acquire AM Group, an Australian industrial door company within entrance automation.

Today, Ansa Doors offers one of the most comprehensive product portfolios in the Australian market, including:

1. Steel and aluminum roller shutters and grilles
2. Sheeted and glazed bi-fold and tilt doors

In addition to manufacturing, Ansa Doors provides preventative maintenance and 24/7 emergency repair services for all door products through a dedicated team of service technicians.
