ANSA Doors "E87" Clearvision Polycarbonate Roller Shutter

Applications

The E87 aluminium roller shutter provides a combination of slim-line aluminium and polycarbonate interlocking slats. The slats provide a see through curtain. This roller shutter is suitable as an access door where the contents of the internal area need to be seen. The E87 aluminium roller shutter is typically used for shop fronts, shopping malls, serving counters, display units and product displays.

Features

1. Curtain - Constructed using interlocking extruded aluminium and polycarbonate slats. The slats are retained in position using nylon end locks to the extruded aluminium slats. For more information, refer to technical information detail below.
2. Bottom Rail - Rigid extruded aluminium section complete with finger pull. A bottom seal can be provided as an optional extra. For more information, refer to technical information detail below.
3. Side Guides (Track) - Rigid extruded aluminium sections complete with splayed tops. Side guides are available in different sizes and configurations to suit the application and aesthetics requirement. Where required or specified the side guides are bolted to fixing angles or posts of size and thickness to suit the shutter and application. 4. Roller Drum - Fabricated from mild steel or galvanised tube, with the outside diameter and thickness appropriate to the size and application of the aluminium roller shutter.
5. Bracket Plates - Fabricated from 3 mm galvanised steel in sizes to suit the height of the opening and engineered tube size.
6. Operation - Generally hand operated. However, appropriate tube motors can be fitted. Tube motors are 240 V and can be activated through a variety of control devices to suit application or your preference. Tube motors require single phase, 10 amp 3-pin plug socket within 1 metre of each door opening.
7. Door Locking - Two-way 2-point key operated lock fitted to bottom rail or at waist height. Locking is not recommended for electrically operated roller shutters.
8. Finishes - Aluminium components are supplied in etch and clear anodising as standard. Powder coating (in standard available colours) is an optional extra and is applied using our in house powder coat line at Ansa Doors. All mild steel items are provided with zinc rich primer paint hand applied.
9. Hoods / Fascias - Available as optional extras to suit the application. Hoods are manufactured in house at Ansa Doors from 0.5 mm galvanised steel sheet. Fascias are fabricated using aluminium channel for the perimeter frame and interlocking aluminium extruded slats as an infill panel.
10. Ventilation - Not available.
